Natural Selection 2: Lethal Kittens!

Lethal Kittens! or LK! was formed for the NS2: Mod Madness Tournament in March 2017.  The goal was to have a few regular Lethal.Zoners and a few chosen outsiders to experience NS2 in an uniquely modded kind of way.

The team consisted out of:

The way they kept each other up to date was by using a secret channel in Discord. In the channel, every important piece of data was forwarded by their captain. For voice communication, they used the NS2 discord voice channel.

So how did the Mod Tournament go?

Our first match was a 16vs16 match. Each team consisted out of two groups from the tournament. We were grouped together with Maden_Rush_Are against the teams Pubstars and MaDneSs skulks. We lost this match fair and square with 0-2.

Our second match was a round of Seige+. The idea is that aliens must quickly put pressure on the marines and try to destroy their base. The marines must defend it long enough till the gates open and they can start rolling arcs to the alien’s base.  We were matched against Horsemen of the apocalypse. After we both played a round as alien and marine we quickly found out that the mod was heavily favored to the marines side. We decided to call it a draw and fight the tiebreaker in a different mod.

The tiebreaker round meant we had to fight one round in the mod Marine versus Marine. We ended the match victoriously with a 1-0.

Our next match was a round of Alien versus Alien. We were matched against Team Lassie. We had lost this match with 0-2.

Our latest match will be against Pubstars. It will be a round of Defense or Faded. How we will do this time against them? You will be able to read the results after this weekend. This rounded up being neither and we played Skulks vs Shotgun against them. This ended in a 2-0 for them. This match was the conclusion of Lethal Kittens! for the Mod Tournament.
